As a research assistant, I work on two research projects at the Institute of Sociology, University of Zurich.

Swiss Partnership Markets (SHP Paper)

Research paper on the development of the Swiss partnership market based on the Swiss Household Panel (SHP), led by Prof. Dr. Marco Giesselmann. Analysis of education-specific matching behavior, homogamy, and declining birth rates. My contributions include matching SHP variables across survey waves, data preparation, literature review, and co-authorship. Submitted for a special issue of the Swiss Journal of Sociology.

Podcast Ecosystem & Gender Stereotypes

DSI-funded research project analyzing gender stereotypes in the podcast ecosystem, led by Dr. Malte Döhne and Prof. Dr. Katja Rost. Data collection via podcast APIs (ListenNotes, 63 GB of episode data), named entity recognition, topic modeling, and content analysis. Development of a questionnaire on relationship crises based on podcast transcriptions. Collaboration with the Institute of Computational Linguistics.
